Everything about launching with real liquidity, in plain words.
Overview
SuperStonk launches coins on StonkFun, which runs on Raydium LaunchLab. Every coin starts on a bonding curve: the price rises as people buy and falls as they sell. Once buyers have put in enough, the coin graduates and its liquidity moves into a Raydium pool.
The difference here is one setting: how much liquidity your coin starts with. A normal StonkFun launch starts thin, so a handful of trades swing the price hard. You choose a deeper start.
Starting liquidity
Starting liquidity is the curve's opening depth — the coin is priced as if that much were already in the pool. Deeper means each buy and sell moves the price less.
It sets the other numbers for you:
- Opening market cap ≈ starting liquidity ÷ 1.073. $20k of liquidity opens at about $18.6k.
- Graduation market cap ≈ 14.7 × the opening market cap. The curve's shape is the same for every coin; only its scale changes.
- Raise to graduate — how much buyers put in, in the pair's token, before the coin graduates. It grows with the liquidity you pick.
The supply is always 1 billion coins, about 79% of it sold on the curve. A normal launch on SOL starts with roughly $3k of liquidity; the launch page shows the exact figure for each pair at today's price, and how many times deeper yours is.
Pairs and coin types
The pair is what buyers pay with — SOL or one of StonkFun's tokenized stocks (xStocks, PreStocks and more). Your coin's raise and price are in that token.
Two coin types:
- Standard — no tax on transfers.
- Rewards 1% or 3% — a tax on every transfer of the coin, paid out to holders by StonkFun.
The dev buy
The dev buy is your own first purchase. It is part of the launch transaction itself, so nobody can buy before you — you get the opening price. The launch page shows how many coins you'd get, what share of supply that is, and where the price sits after your buy.
It's optional, and you always type it in SOL. On a SOL pair that SOL is the buy. On any other pair (STONK, a stock token…) your SOL is first swapped to the pair's token through Raydium, and the dev buy then spends the swap's guaranteed minimum — so that's one extra approval in your wallet. If the launch doesn't go through after the swap, the swapped tokens stay in your wallet and pressing Launch again uses them instead of swapping twice.
Launching, step by step
- Pick the pair and the coin type.
- Set the starting liquidity — drag the bar or type an amount.
- Add a name, ticker, image and, if you like, a description and links.
- Optionally add a dev buy.
- Press Launch. Connect your wallet when asked, then approve the launch — plus the swap first, if you set a dev buy on a non-SOL pair.
Your coin is live on StonkFun as soon as it confirms, usually within seconds, and it appears on the Tokens page.
After launch
Your coin trades on StonkFun's bonding curve. The Tokens page shows its market cap, liquidity and progress to graduation, live. When the raise is complete the coin graduates to a Raydium pool and keeps trading there.
Your wallet and safety
- Non-custodial. We never see your keys. Your wallet signs the launch; nothing moves without your approval.
- Simulated first. Every launch is simulated on Solana before it reaches your wallet. A launch that would fail is stopped before you sign.
- Tamper-proof. The coin's new mint signs the exact transaction we built. If anything in it is changed, it won't be sent.
- Can't land twice. If a launch doesn't confirm in time, nothing is spent and you can simply press Launch again.
Costs
To launch you pay the Solana network fee and the rent for the new coin's accounts — a few hundredths of a SOL — plus your dev buy, if any. Trading fees on your coin are set by StonkFun and Raydium.
FAQ
Which wallets work?
Any Solana wallet that runs in your browser: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and others.
Do I need to connect a wallet to look around?
No. You can set up the whole launch first; the wallet is only needed for the final approval.
Can I change the liquidity after launch?
No. The curve is fixed once the coin is created.
Why does my wallet show a warning?
Some wallets warn on any transaction that creates a new token. Check that the details match what you set, then approve. Don't edit the transaction — an edited launch is refused.
Where do I trade my coin?
On StonkFun while it's on the curve, then on Raydium after it graduates. The Tokens page links to both.
Risks
Coins can lose all their value. Launching or buying one is your own decision and risk. Not affiliated with StonkFun or Raydium. Nothing here is financial advice.
